If you followed the recent Nintendo 3DS virtual console releases you’d know that the line up has been kind of weak. With this release though, we get something rather interesting.
When Firebrand was announced as a playable character for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 most people seemed to have one question in their heads: “Who?”
Some knew he was an enemy in Ghosts ‘n Goblins and Ghouls ‘n Ghosts but that’s as far as it goes for them. Fear not, unknowing mortals, Capcom and Nintendo have you covered as they bring you the first game in which Firebrand actually starred as the protagonist. Gargoyle’s Quest is the name of the game and it was originally released for GameBoy. There are 3 games in the series, with Demon’s Crest for the SNES being the last one (and an excellent game). If you want a taste of this side scrolling RPG classic, get your 3DS and 4€ ready and head to the eShop.
