THIS THREESOME IS REALLY CONFUSING!

LIKE WHAT IS THIS EVEN?

CapcomEurope tweeted three new teasers alongside the following sentence: “Three new characters join the fray”.

But as you might be able to tell the characters shown in there far surpass the count of three. The first teaser shows Dan’s back, Juri’s hands and C. Vipers gloves, the second one I’m not quite sure about, as one of the scrap-images seems to show Deejay, another one Mecha Zangief and I can’t identify the last one. The third teaser has Boxer’s shoes, maybe Yang’s back(?) and another one I can’t seem to make out. What’s weird is not only the fact that the tweet is only talking about 3 characters, but also that Zangief is already confirmed, so what is Mecha Zangief doing there? I know he’s in the background of one of the stages, so could it be referring to that? I highly doubt they’d put two versions of Zangief in the game right off the bat. Also it seems like there are only Street Fighter characters in these videos (unless the ones I can’t identify are Tekken characters), which would also go against the way Capcom had been going about these things up until now.

Is this a troll? Are we not only supposed to figure out who the characters are, but also which ones of those are going to make it into the game? What exactly is going on here? Only Ono knows.
