The FFM Rumble is one of a few big German fighting game tournaments and this year it is finally back!
After there was no Rumble last year and this year is drawing to a close, hopes for the 5th FFM Rumble taking place this year weren’t exactly high, but today it finally got an official announcement and all the info that comes with it.
Like every time, as the name suggests, the tournament will take place in Frankfurt, Germany. The date is December 3rd and 4th and the main games are Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online Edition. It will be the first German major to feature UMvC3 and I’m sure the title for the first UMvC3 champion will be hard-fought. You can be sure to find a bunch of other games being played casually on the side, of course, so even if the main games aren’t your thing and you just want to have fun and hang out with other fighting game lovers, this is the place to be.
They will apparently also have a build of the still-not-released Street Fighter X Tekken playable there, which adds another reason for fighting game fans to want to be there at all costs. I plan on going there to taking everyone down with Phoenix Wright and Makoto… hopefully it will work! Either way I’ll probably be writing about it, so stay tuned!
Check out the official FFM Rumble homepage for all the info you need.
