One of the most critically discussed Metroid games is getting the remake treatment. From fans!
Sadly, I haven’t had time to try it out myself so far, but don’t let that stop you from doing so! This isn’t just a graphical improvement, as Samus has a lot of her now-staple moves to make her more mobile and make the game feel more fluid, which seems like a necessity for a game transitioning from the Gameboy. The graphical rework turns the game into a very pretty SNES-styled piece of art and of course the sound has been redone as well. Do keep in mind that this is fan made, so production is going rather slow. Also remember that all you can play so far is a demo, so don’t expect to go too deep into SR88 and discover too many things. I’ll try to get this thing into my system after I’ve finished some other games.
